The Mystery of Sir Francis Bacon and Shakespeare & Why It Matters Today

Francis Bacon gave his vision of what a Golden Age may look like in his New Atlantis. Even though his book places the new Atlantis in the Pacific, Bacon thought that the New Atlantis could be realized in North America.

Shakespeare's works introduced revolutionary concepts and continue to have their dramatic effect on cultures worldwide.

The Shakespeare Mystery

The Shakespeare mystery concerns the semi-secret philosophical, literary and artistic group led by the multi-talented Sir Francis Bacon, who were dedicated to the 'love of Wisdom' and the philanthropic work of raising human consciousness and culture.

They created a 'Mystery' centered on "Shakespeare" to conceal Wisdom under the "entertainment mask" that Wisdom could speak to and enlighten us.

Shakespeare is a genuine Mystery – and an extraordinarily successful one! An even greater Mystery is that of Bacon and the group who produced the Shakespeare Mystery. It is certainly in our interests to discover, learn from and enjoy the greater Mystery – even if only to learn how to be successful in our lives in the right ways.

Elizabethan Drama - Who Wrote Shakespeare?

This lecture will introduce this theme, deal with the life and times of Shakespeare, questions about the Shakespeare authorship, Francis Bacon's leading role in this off-stage Elizabethan drama, and the Mystery and treasure trail set up for us to follow.
